Introduction
High-precision torsion springs are helical coil springs engineered to exert a precise rotational force (torque) when their arms are deflected around a central axis. Unlike standard torsion springs, high-precision variants are manufactured to exceptionally tight tolerances, ensuring consistent performance in critical applications where accuracy and reliability are paramount.
Torsion springs store mechanical energy through angular deflection rather than linear compression or extension. When twisted, they store potential energy that can be released to power mechanisms, provide clamping force, or return components to their original positions.
